The Bristol Music Club is dedicated to empowering young classical musicians in the Tri-cities (Bristol, Kingsport and Johnson City) through scholarships and public recitals that cultivate their passion and skill.
Upcoming Scholarship Benefit
On November 7, 2026, The Bristol Music Club (TBMC) will hold a benefit for the May 2027 Competition for Scholarships. TBMC works diligently to ensure that local, young talent is supported by providing scholarships to further the students’ musical goals (better training, instrument repair or upgrades and the like). The benefit will feature performances from the lsat group of scholarship winners (May, 2026), a silent auction, refreshments and an opportunity to chat with these very fine young musicians afterwards.
When: November 7, 2026 @ 10:00 a.m.
Where: State Street United Methodist Church, Bristol, Virginia
Ticket Cost: $25.00 (from TBMC members or at the door)

Not all of the outstanding young musicians in our annual contest can receive a scholarship, but we applaud their efforts and encourage them to try again next year.
